Singapore Day 1: Universal Studios + Chinatown

Went straight to a beary good hostel the moment we got out of the airport to leave our stuff there. We got our attraction tickets too that are cheaper than the regular prices (thanks, beary! :D) and then, we set out for UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE!!! Woohoo!!! :D

The whole place was awesome!! (It reminded me back when we went to Hong Kong Disneyland. But, I gotta say that HK Disneyland is much livelier than USS.) The moment the gates open, we rushed to Sci Fi City where we lined up for The Transformers 3D attraction. It was EPIC!!

Afterwards, Roy, Alex and Pooh convinced me to ride the Battlestars Galactic: Humans vs. Cylon ride which left me pale and all jelly afterwards X_X after that ride, I didn't have that much energy as i did that morning anymore. XD hahaha (then again, maybe it's alao because of the lack of sleep)

Overall, the place was soooo cool! We weren't able to ride ALL the rides, but it was still awesome!

We headed back to Beary afterwards to settle down, freshen up and get some rest before we headed back out again to have dinner at Chinatown. We hung out for a few minutes before we set out to have some dinner at a nearby hawker food street at Chinatown. It was literally a food street since the whole street is packed with food stalls to the right and food restaurants to the left. And this goes on from one tip of the street to the next... And it didn't stop there, other streets were like that too. Funny how their 7 PM looks like our 5 PM at the Philippines.

The streets were bustling with people and vendors. It was alive and jolly, and people were moving about swiftly like usual, Lorena and I stayed a while longer than the rest while they head back to the hostel. We went souvenir-shopping. The whole streets were packed with so many stalls despite the numerous twists and turns, and corners.

As soon as we got back to the hostel, before everybody went to bed, we played a few rounds of The Mafia Card Game. I couldn't stop laughing all the while. XD It was my first time playing the game and although I haven't quite gotten used to it yet, I think I was able to grasp the rules and gist of it all. It was really fun even though it was just us in our pajamas, a few cards and a whole lot of laughs!

Not bad for my first sleepover and first out-of-the-country-with-friends experience! ;)
