Keeping it REAL: BREAKING the stereotype

I am who I am...

Hey, if you don't like me... then at least you don't like me for who I am. I know I can't please everybody and that's exactly why I won't change the why I think, the why I feel, the things I believe in and the things I love to do just because it's not "appropriate" to other people.

So what if I'm a manly woman? So what if I'm more capable of carrying heavy objects than any other man? So what if doing so makes me "not demure"? Was I even trying to be? (--,) So what if a man doesn't find a woman attractive because she carries boxes and lifts heavy stuff around the store? So what if a man doesn't find me pretty when I sweat? It gets the job done! You don't see me commenting when I walk into a salon and find a man having his pedicure!

So what if I laugh out loud? So what if I talk animatedly? So what if I dance like an idiot around the house almost everyday? At least it's what I'm really feeling and I'm having fun every single time!

Hey, you! The one reading this. Keep it REAL. Only YOU can tell yourself who you really are.

Don't let others tell you otherwise.

Because being yourself is being AWESOME!!
