.UPs and DOWNs

.So it was my 3rd day in work today... I was going to blog about on my first day, but I opted to survey the situation first before making out my first impressions, so here it is:

Advantages:

1. Not-so-early starting time
2. No pressure (for now)
3. Getting to work on a 21.5" iMac and Wacom Intuos3 tablet everyday \m/
4. Getting to work with Apple products (Mac is starting to rub on me)
5. Getting to work with a DSLR (Nikon D90) everyday, as well as to practice on during my free time
6. Had fun while working, i.e.,
• decorating the place
• sorting out the costumes
• graphic layouting of photo books, greeting cards, etc. ♥
• photographing children ♥
• vanity shots with my fellow photographer while training/practicing shots
• playing with the children ♥
7. Flexible time and no time limit for breaks
8. Exercising while working (taking care of children requires more energy than expected)
9. Employee perks on items. WoOoOoOoOo~
10. Fast internet == GLEE and anime moments during work! xD hahahaha!
11. Fun bosses and co-workers, everyday is a happy day and that's what our customers want their children to be too~

Disadvantages:

1. Late end time
2. Low starting salary rate
3. 6 days/week of work that includes Saturdays and Sundays >.<
4. Opens mostly on holidays (so for reasons #3 and 4 == no time for laag na >.<)
5. Flexible time, i.e., no clear time for breaks (usually have lunch at around 2 or 3 PM na)
6. My consumption on food increased (since eating my usual cereal for breakfast left me hungry and drained my energy O_O)

Neutral:

1. Listening to kiddie/Disney music that is looped everyday XD
2. Cleaning up the place when there are no customers

.There are still more things left to be observed. But so far, I'm really loving my job! Mingaw pa lang, but we're hoping to get more customers after the soft opening. Visit nya mo guys! :D
