.DIY Stuffs

.My creative juices have been squeezed out lately. I don't know why I suddenly want to get creative and/or FEEL like getting creative. And another one is added into my do-it-yourself stuff to do.

.In addition to the crafty journal that I'm planning to make in reference to my previous blog post (last priority on the list), I added two more things I want to make.

Numero UNO in the list. TUBE FLOPS!!! <3

.Nicole, Gero and I went post-Christmas shopping today and I found these cute Tube Flops at Sanuk, which cost UBER EXPENSIVE for just flops and leg warmers combined, so I decided that I'm gonna make my own version of it. Of course, all design credits goes to Sanuk for it's their idea, not mine.

Materials needed:
- Leg warmers or Knee socks
- Flops
- Super glue
- Sewing Kit

.Planning to slice up the flops in the middle, cut out the leg warmers or knee socks (sew it up), insert it in the flops, and finally, glue 'em back together. Hope that's gonna work though!

 

Numero DOS in the list. Boom Box Bag.

.Nicole and I have visited Rustan's a couple of times for the past few months and we stumbled upon these boom box bags which had real speakers attached. It's kinda cool walking around with this bag while attaching the speaker to your MP3 player as it plays. Hehehehe ^^

.Although Nicole just bought the orange version of this just ganina, I'm still planning to make one. Just to keep the creative juices from flowing. Hehehe. Just gonna attach a cheap speaker from CD-R King and place it in a detachable compartment in the bag (in case I need to replace the speakers if they get busted), sew it all together and voila!

Materials needed:

- Strong semi-leatherette bag (or a stiff one will do)

- Speakers

- Same cloth as the bag (for the compartments and patches)

- Sewing kit

.Haven't got a design in mind yet since I haven't really thought about what to put. My motif is brown and pink though. And of course, I need a lot of good-looking or vintage-looking paper.
