.Windows 7 Cebu Launch

.The word is out! Windows 7 will be launched in Cebu this November 21-22, 2009 at SM Cyberzone and as part of their promotion for the event, they are having this HUNT FOR POINTS system where you:

1. Go around Windows 7's partner sites
2. Look for Windows 7 ad banners (that look like these:


3. Click them and earn points
4. Exchange those points for Windows 7 goods

You have to sign up here though, but it's SO WORTH IT!

You can get freebies (pens, pins, jackets, even the Windows 7 Home Basic software, and more of course) Here are the list of prizes you can exchange with the points you collected.

.You can double the points too if you use Internet Explorer 8 to click on an ad banner.

.But, obviously, you'll have to attend the Cebu Launching to be able to collect your prizes, otherwise, they'll just be forfeited.

.Waaaaaaaaaa, I definitely want to go ^^ and this Hunt for Points promo thing made me want to go more! ^^ So, who's with me??

.The following sites need digging-in or refreshing before you can find the ad banners. I think you don't necessarily need to register sa sites to find the banners.

http://clickthecity.com/clipcast/ (this is where I found it the banner a lot, I tried the homepage but it did not really show a space where there are ads, so I gave up on the home page)

http://pinoyexchange.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=9 (look for the square one that can be found in the middle of the page, this actually works for any subforum, so you can try looking at the other subforums or just press your F5 button like crazy until the banner comes out! Hahahahaha~)

.Just look for the ad banners all around the pages (some of them are at the bottommost part) Syaro ha! Spoon-feed na jud kaayo ni! ;) Let's all win that jacket!! XD hahahaha! (I'm aiming for it! Hehehe!)

.Lastly, word is just in for the Point Quest Redemption of Prizes. Here it is:

1. Items can be redeemed during the Windows 7 Philippines Launch on Nov 7-8, 2009 at the SM North EDSA Cyberzone, and at the Windows 7 Philippines Cebu Launch on Nov 21-22, 2009 at the SM Cebu Cyberzone.

2. Hunting for Points will be  cut off by Nov 6, 2009 12:00 NN and will resume on Nov 9, 2009. //I'm guessing this resumes back on Nov. 9, for us Cebu peeps.

3. After cut off, registered user can print the  Point Quest Redemption Form which will have the Total Number of Points earned by the User and the Items that can be redeemed as well as the required equivalent points to redeem.

4. Note that items that can be redeemed will  depend upon the availability of the item(s)during the launch days of Nov 7-8 at SM North EDSA Cyberzone. (In Cebu's case, Nov. 21-22) Should the chosen item be no longer available, the registered user will need to replace the choice with available item(s).

5. Registered User will present the  Point Quest Redemption Form and matching Valid IDat the Point Quest Validation Center. Only one (1) Point Quest Redemption Form for every person will be accommodated i.e. one registered email per person.

6. Upon Validation i.e. matching the registered Email Address with the Registered Name and Valid ID, the person will be directed to the  Point Quest Redemption Booth.

7. At the Point Quest Redemption Booth, the Registered User will present the Point Quest Redemption Form that specifies the items to be redeemed.

8. Upon availability, the items will be released to the Registered User. After receipt, Registered User will need to Sign-off and return the form to the Point Quest Redemption Booth.

9. Upon Sign-off, the equivalent points will be deducted from the Account of the User.

So, continue getting those points, peeps! ^^
